Yes, visitors are welcome! However, non-guests may not stay overnight, and minors may only visit if they are registered guests.
Yes, your kitchenette is fully equipped with a stovetop, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and toaster. You will also have access to a private outdoor BBQ.
Yes, our taps provide delicious, pure well water.
Currently each cabin except The View and the Yellow House feature a private outdoor hot tub that will be turned on and ready for your enjoyment upon arrival. We provide cozy robes and special black hot tub towels for your convenience.
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available across the retreat. Each cabin also features a Smart TV so you can log into your own entertainment accounts.
Every cabin is equipped with a remote-controlled heat pump/AC unit and adjustable baseboard heaters. Additionally, Black Crow Lodge and The View feature indoor wood-burning stoves for extra warmth and ambiance.
Dogs are welcome with advanced notice. A damage deposit is required prior to arrival, which is reimbursed within seven days of check-out upon a clean inspection.
We ask that dogs stay off the furniture and beds, and that they are never left outside unsupervised or indoors unattended unless crated. Please clean up after your pet using the provided waste bags.
The Rose Bay General Store and Bistro is just a 5-minute drive away. It offers espresso, fresh pastries, locally sourced groceries, and an NSLC liquor store. For late-night needs, there is a 24-hour Irving gas station and convenience store about 12 minutes away in Lunenburg.
We are located in Riverport, just a scenic 12-minute drive from the historic, UNESCO World Heritage site of Lunenburg, giving you easy access to world-class dining, coastal tours, and local shops.
There is strictly no smoking or vaping inside the cabins. All smoking and vaping must be done at least 5 metres away from any open door or window using the exterior ashtrays provided.
To ensure a peaceful coastal escape for all of our guests, quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
While we cannot control Nova Scotia's weather or the power grid, every suite is equipped with a rechargeable lantern. If an outage lasts longer than 5 hours, we offer a refund of one half-day to affected guests.
