Black Salt is a small fleet of cabins set above the tides of Ritcey Cove, where Nordic-inspired minimalism meets Nova Scotia's rugged South Shore. Organic materials and clean lines slow the pace of the whole day. Light moves across the floor, the tide comes in, and your attention settles there instead of everywhere else.

Six 1,200 square foot cabins with full glass facades, vertical maple and black steel interiors, and two bedrooms each. One has a private pond at the entrance, another a Level 2 EV charging station. Adults-only, 16 and up.
A log house built on-site by German craftsmen flown in for the build. Heavy timber, black hardware, a wood-burning stove, and a lofted bedroom overlooking the main room. Outside: a hot tub, a porch swing, and a dining area facing the harbour.
Touting the best view on the property - this multi-room dwelling is truly unique. Three bedrooms connected by an interior skywalk, floor-to-ceiling glass, and a private balcony off the primary suite. Built for the whole family to stay together, with enough separation that everyone still gets some quiet.

Black Salt continues to grow. Four more cabins are under construction farther up the hillside, each built to fit its own spot in the landscape. Scheduled for completion in late 2026, they'll bring the collection to nine.
